Director of Finance and Resources - Central London - Community Charity

A London based childrens charity are looking for a Director of Finance and Resources to join their Senior Leadership Team and help develop and implement their next 5 year strategy. Improving the lives of nearly 30,000 young people across the capital last year, this organisation is looking for an ambitious Director of Finance and Resources to drive a culture of continuous improvement and development across their corporate services.

As the new Director of Finance and Resources you will have:

  • A finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) and experience in a strategic role in finance
  • Experience of developing operational plans
  • Knowledge of charity finance, managing both restricted and unrestricted funds
  • Ability to manage and implement strategic projects

This position is paying between £60,000 and £70,000 with a fantastic benefits package (can be shared upon application).

The new Director of Finance and Resources will be:

  • Responsible for the Finance, HR, ICT functions with at least three direct reports
  • Looking after Governance, Property and Insurance management
  • A key part of the Senior Leadership Team and integral in developing their next 5 year strategy
  • Working closely with the CEO to ensure the back office function can deliver the aims of the organisation
