About the role:

A Leading Financial Services Provider is looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join their London or Reigate Office on a permanent basis on a hybrid working arrangement

The role will be responsible for working with the HR team (internal and outsourced ER team) to build organisational behaviour which is in line with the company values. Responsible for the day to day management of the outsourced ER contract, monitoring SLA’s and performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the outsourced ER contract building relationships as appropriate and monitoring SLA’s and performance.
  • Partnering with both senior business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement policy, procedures and practices
  • Handling employee complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating, mediating, or counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders
  • Investigating and resolving complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Working with the Mental Health First aiders to engage the business and support positive wellbeing across the organisation
  • Collating and analysing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes
  • Gather, analyse and interpret data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement

Experience and qualification:

  • Hands on experience in Employee Relations and familiar with Employment laws
  • Degree or equivalent HR experience
  • Human Resources experience in a Financial Services background
  • CIPD qualification (Essential)
  • Other ER qualifications e.g. mediation, contract law, negotiation are highly desirable
  • Experience of ER outsourcing would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Data analysis and ability to provide insight
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Discretion, integrity and confidentiality
  • Conflict management and resolution
  • Collaborative skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • MS Office applications inc PP, Excel,
  • HRIS experience Workday experience is desirable
