I'm working for a high-growth Media agency based in Central London, where I am recruiting for a Finance Analyst position. This agency is a family history company which has experienced exciting growth over the past few years, with the introduction of new technologies. You will play a key role within the finance team of budgeting, forecasting and adhoc decision support.

The role of Finance Analyst will include:

  • Ensuring the accurate and insightful delivery of weekly, monthly and adhoc reports to provide key stakeholders with a clear understanding of performance
  • Coordinating and challenging the input from other areas of the business; aiming to continually improve the quality of the packs and commentary
  • Reviewing monthly management accounts alongside the Dundee finance team to ensure accuracy
  • Working with the business and end users to understand business requirements in order to translate this into business commercial finance models
  • Establishing strong working relationships with peers within the business, along with the Dundee finance team
  • Playing a key role in budgeting and forecasting
  • Willing to take a proactive role in developing, redesigning key FP&A processes

The suitable candidate for the role of Finance Analyst must be/have:

  • Part/newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy in reporting, and the ability to deal with large amounts of data
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-manage
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
