Finance Analyst – 6/7 months FTC

Tittle: Finance Analyst
Contract: 6 months FTC (possible extension)
Location: London (Flexible working – It’s likely you will be needed onsite 1-2 days per week, but days are not fixed and might flex up/down depending on business need.)
Working hrs: Monday – Friday – 37.5 hrs a week, 1 hour lunch break (hybrid working)
Pay: £40,000 – 45,000 per annum (pro rata) (depending on your experience)

This is within a well known and major British broadcasting company! (Would be some great experience to work on this project with such a great company). The idea of the role is to support the Op Model Lead with the design of a target operating model for finance, ensuring the correct approach is followed and that the design works with wider Finance teams.

More about the role:
Support the op model lead with analysis of data, specifically:

• Creating and updating activity analysis data
• Draft role profiles based on activities
• Organisation design across Finance
• Prepare sizing model based on benchmark and volumetrics data
• Define interaction models
• Manipulate and analyse activity analysis data
• Create PowerPoint slides illustrating data in a simple and accessible format
• Facilitate process to role mapping workshops
• Working closely with HR to work through people impacts

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• Strong excel skills to help manipulate data
• Excellent IT skills including GSuite and Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of finance processes and activity
• Proven PowerPoint and presentation skills, to create slides and prepare material
• Comfortable working with some level of ambiguity
