Goodman Masson are looking for a Finance Analyst to join a growing Technology/Financial Services business based in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collating and organising a list of unreconciled transactions on the Settlement and Segregated accounts used to hold client monies
  • Record unreconciled transactions in Excel, reported on u-Track tickets since the creation of the settlement accounts
  • Match the status of the resolution of transactions as reported, establishing a process to monitor an up to date status for each transaction
  • Work with Banking Ops, the primary user of this information, to develop relevant reporting based on the Excel tracker
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders, providing the outcomes of the analysis
  • Assist in systems development to automate the collation and analysis of reconciling items
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate with a relevant degree
  • Relevant work experience essential. Previous experience of working in a Finance team (min. 2 years) is desirable
  • You are highly numerate, with an analytical approach
  • Confident and articulate communicator, able to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • You can demonstrate attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and a self-starter who can work to deadlines
  • You're extremely competent in Excel, and you know how to organise data and present it in a way that is useful to the reader
