Join a world-leading organisation within the performing arts field as their new Finance Business Partner, as the organisation's output and ambition grows rapidly and as its UK and international productions increase. The Finance Business Partner will have a key operational role, contributing to delivering the organisation's strategic priorities and partnering with departments across the business.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Development, Fundraising, Engagement, Marketing, HR and Executive departments by being a trusted advisor, providing support and analysis to aid decision making
  • Providing regular and accurate management reporting and ensuring proactive budgeting and forecasting support is in place
  • Up-skilling and building the financial capability of budget holders across the organisation by ensuring collaborative working, project support and regular meetings
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and other statutory reporting
  • Managing and developing a team of part and non-qualified accountants (3 reports), ensuring their work is reviewed and they are given on-the-job training and development

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience of working in the Arts or Charity sector
  • Have proven experience of managing, supporting and developing junior staff
  • Be a confident Finance Business Partner, experienced in partnering with a variety of budget holders
  • Have experience of financial and management reporting, charity tax and VAT, and commercial financial analysis
