A multi site SME business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will manage a team of 2 with main duties including:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts and year end Audit packs
- Regular review of balance sheets
- Review of supplier payment runs and purchase ledger
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Review and improvement of group financial internal controls
- Monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Dealing with bank queries
- Assisting the Head of Finance with ad hoc project work
You will either be in a mid/small tier practice with accounts prep and exposure to tax and VAT, on in a similar role in industry. Any multi-site experience would be an advantage.
The business has ambitious growth plans and this role is newly created to help support that growth.
