This role is working in the European finance team for a global technology consultancy and is managing 6 key Nordic regions. The role is managing 1 team member and working closely with the European finance heads and global SSC support team to produce timely and accurate financial and management information.

The key responsibilities of the finance manager:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under US GAAP
  • Preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ad hoc analysis and project support
  • Process improvements & SSC guidance and support
  • Liasiing with local and regional accounting partners on local tax and technical requirements
  • Cost and overheads management for all Nordic regions
  • Management of 1 junior report and indirect ssc management

The profile they are looking at for this Finance manager role:

  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent or QBE
  • Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP (preferable)
  • Management experience is beneficial
  • Strong excel and exposure to Oracle is beneficial
  • Nordic language is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience working in large complex international businesses
