Financial Accountant

What is the role?

Joining the team based in Central London (with occasional travel to school sites), you would have the opportunity to work flexibly. Main responsibilities:

• Ensuring financial processes meet policy requirements; preparing journals & reconciliations
• Supporting with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets & longer-term strategies
• Monitoring income; raising sales invoices & managing debtors
• Assisting with purchase invoice processing & payment runs
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance department, including audit preparation, journal postings & funding bids

This role is offering a salary of up to £40,000, with study support & impressive benefits.

What do you need to succeed?

• Part-qualified status (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or actively studying
• Experience working within a finance department; 2+ years desirable
• Exposure to the production of financial reports
• Confident user of Excel and other accounting systems; knowledge of PS Financials beneficial
• Great communication skills; the ability to communicate financial information effectively
