Financial Accountant – Banking

Financial Services – Banking – Financial Accountant – 6 month Contract – Day rate: 350

I’m partnered with a global bank in London. You will be working closely with the Financial Controller, and stakeholders within the business where we are looking for a bright, articulate and self-driven individual to join the team.

To be successful as a financial accountant, you should have an accounting qualification and experience as an accountant. Ultimately, a seasoned Financial Accountant should be competent in financial principles and ensure the organization complies with the law.

Some of the Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly accounts
• Conducting internal audits
• Preparing budgets for the organisation
• Prepare and post journals each quarter for accruals, prepayments, deferred income
• Overseeing tax payments
• Assist with a wide variety of investor and business reporting
• Assisting on the tax compliance for each SPV including quarterly VAT reporting.
• Adhoc finance tasks and project work as requested.

Required:

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA)
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role ideally within banking
