An SME growing retail and FMCG business is looking to recruit a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidate to lead its finance function. Working directly with the CEO and managing an account below main duties include:
-Ensure all procurement is cost effective and in line with budget
-Monitor and report sales activities across all retail outlets
-Monitor and manage specific balance sheet items specific to cash, debtors & creditors
You will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with the weekly reporting on the following:
- Profit and Loss statements for all departments
- Labour cost
- Stock takes & Inventory levels
-You will oversee and supervise the timely and accurate production of monthly Management Accounts for the whole group.
-Attend monthly board meetings to report to board and shareholders on financial performance of the business.
-Report back to Senior Management on stock take & Inventory at month end to allow for sufficient resource management.
-Select and implement back office software, systems, controls and procedures that optimise profitability
-Ensure financial controls are in place with regards to spending levels
The role is a hands on role but an opportuntiy to lead a finance function in a business which has been successful and continutes to grow. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience working in an SME business in a hands on role.
