A FTSE 100 Technology business is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their high profile Group FP&A team. This individual will report to the Group FP&A Director and take a lead role on global planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. The Financial Planning Analyst will gain significant exposure to the senior leadership team including the Board so this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to accelerate their career.

The role of the Financial Planning Analyst will be broken down into three main parts:

Budgeting - playing a key role in the global budget process, communicate with with international stake holders including regional directors, devise and monitor KPIs for revenue, EBIT and productivity, draft reports and presentations for OpCo and Board.

Forecasting - coordinate and deliver the monthly forecast process, produce regional forecasts for presentation at monthly senior leadership team meetings, produce insightful analysis on business trends and performance vs market expectations.

Projects - take the lead on a wide range of projects including regional strategic reviews, strategic plans, quarterly performance reviews, half-year reviews, potential investment opportunities and driving insight into cost and revenue drivers.

This is a high profile role with significant senior level exposure. Therefore this individual must be a qualified accountant (ACA) with post qualified experience in a similar role. This individual will require exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and a proactive attitude. Strong business partnering characteristics are also required.
