A global technology business based in Nottingham is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager. The Financial Reporting Manager will lead a wide range of processes and projects across the UK&I region and work closely with a range of senior stake holders. The business is a market leader in its space and offers a fantastic, vibrant working environment with excellent internal opportunities for progression and development.

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the team responsible for all of the regional financial reporting which will include driving process improvements, supporting and coaching team members, talent development and presenting to senior management.

However, on top of these core deliverables there will be an extremely diverse range of commercial activities to work on. For example, leading the regional internal and external investment approval and review process. This will include providing challenge to business cases and ensuring sufficient rigour and review has been undertaken. Other key commercial exposure will involve managing the regional operating cash flow, ownership of regional capital expenditure performance, proactive identification of key operational drivers and working closely with the CFO and other senior leadership members to continuously identify improvement opportunities.

The previous role holder progressed rapidly from this role due to the exposure this individual was given to the senior leadership team. It is a fantastic entry point into the organisation in which to build your reputation and show what you can do.

The ideal profile will be an ACA qualified accountant (ideally big four background) with post qualified experience either within audit, advisory or finance roles. This individual should be an ambitious person with formidable drive and a demonstrable track record of progression. Superb communication and leadership skills are essential.
