Front End Developer

We are working with one of the top universities in the UK to recruit a Front End Developer on a contract basis. You will have strong React skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders across the business.

Rate: £300 per day outside IR35
Duration: 3 months (scope to extend/go perm)
Location: Offices are in London/Cornwall – you must be able to attend one of the sites when required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Writing application interface code using JavaScript/TypeScript following React/TypeScript concepts and workflows, like Redux, Flux, and Webpack
• Acting as the SME for React, supporting team members and other staff in developing their skills
• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Working with UI and UX designers to realise their design concepts

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong experience with React, Redux, JavaScript and TypeScript in a commercial environment
• Knowledge of building accessible designs
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business
