Front End Engineering Manager- New York, NY

For over 150 years this client has been one of the most influential and global corporations dedicated to informing decades of generations both past and present about significant events in our world.

They have been scaling up their online presence for the past few years as journalism transitions from print-focused to digital. Currently this client is looking for several Front End focused Engineering Managers. The current team is 300+ engineers and the organization continues to grow leaving plenty of room and opportunity to be hands on and have a strong voice within the company.

Qualifications:

-6+ years of Front End Engineering experience

-Minimum of 2+ years management experience (leading a team, setting the direction for projects, holding performance reviews ect)

-Experience using Javascript/Typescript, React/Redux, Node.JS, and AWS

-Working in a large environment a plus!
