Group Accountant

Group Accountant | London (Hybrid) | FTSE 100 Global Pharmaceutical | £65-70,000 + bonus + benefits

A multinational FTSE 100 pharmaceutical company is looking for a Group Accountant. The Group Accountant will be responsible for preparing and presenting the Group’s cash flow statement to senior management, working closely with the Group balance sheet manager, and responsible for the Annual Goodwill impairment review.

The Group Accountant position is a high profile role within the organisation and will have excellent exposure to senior stakeholders within the UK headquarters and global business. The Group Accountant will take ownership of the Group cash flow’s financial control processes and work directly on the monthly P&L and with regional teams on the balance sheet. The Group Accountant will also perform the Group’s Goodwill annual impairment review, interacting with the Corporate Development and FP&A Teams.

The ideal profile would be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience working on cash flow and working at Group level, either as in-house Group Accountant or Group Auditor. Experience within the pharmaceutical or fast moving consumer goods industry would be beneficial, however the client is open to candidates from any industry as long as you have worked within a fast paced, complex business.
