A well known brand is looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller. The Group Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and will hold overall responsibility for the group finance function. This includes managing a team of 5 direct reports and another 3 indirectly. The Group Financial Controller position is a key role within the business as this individual will interact with a wide range of international stake holders and Board level executives.

The Group Financial Controller will lead the monthly financial reporting, consolidation of the various international entities, preparation of the management reporting packs and associated commentary on variances, management and tracking of royalties revenue and the royalties financial model and overall management of the annual Group audit process.

In addition this individual will work closely with FP&A, Tax/Treasury, sales, legal, marketing, IT and other corporate cost centres with regards to supporting them with their financials. Key stale holders include the CFO, CEO, HO company directors, departmental heads and the company charity.

This is a high profile role with fantastic visibility to senior management. It would serve as a great stepping stone to a future Finance Director or CFO role.

The ideal profile would be an ACA qualified accountant with several years post qualified experience. The client is open to considering Senior Managers from practice or individuals who have now progressed within industry.
