This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a FTSE 100 listed business within their group finance function. The company is undergoing an acquisition process currently, as such, the role will be for an initial 4 months and has the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate in the long run.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce on-going efficiencies in the monthly consolidation process
  • Undertaking all monthly reconciliations and follow-on investigations and to instigate any process changes
  • Leading the monthly consolidation process for the group and recent acquisition
  • Planning, preparation, review and consolidation of the Group's Annual Budget and preparation of the budget cash flow and debt flow and overview analysis slides
  • Responsibility for the preparation, reporting and forecasting of cash flow and debt flow for the Group and providing monthly analysis for inclusion in the Monthly Trading Report
  • Support for accounting for all acquisitions and disposals, including review of step plans
  • Providing monthly FX analysis and explanation of movements and support plans to mitigate P&L FX movements

Key Requirements:

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification - preferably ACA, ACCA or CIMA, preferably with at least 2 year's post-qualification experience
  • Preferably previous consolidation experience, ideally with experience of using SAP
  • Experience of engaging/managing multiple key stakeholders
  • Experience of working in or auditing in a Listed/Large Group Company environment
  • Used to working in a fast- paced organisation that is agile and delivers to tight deadlines
  • Immediate availability or up to 1 weeks notice period
