Group Reporting Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing leisure business as their Group Reporting Manager. As well as the reporting, the role has various commercial projects regarding the growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with an audit background.

Duties of the role

  • Aid the production of Board and Audit Committee papers
  • Plan interim and year end statutory reporting
  • Manage ad hoc projects regarding company's growth
  • Aid the budgeting and forecasting of the balance sheet
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager on ad hoc matters when necessary
  • Observe and measure the effect of changes to accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Aid routine and ad hoc financial reporting
  • Work alongside outside company consultants
  • Direct the finance team and the surrounding business on technical issues
  • Post journals for non-operating costs and balance sheet items
  • Be a key contact for the auditors during the year end audit
  • Assist the management of month end and the reporting structures
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work on subjects such as hedge accounting with external consultants
