A multinational FMCG business is looking for a Group Reporting Manager. The Group Reporting Manager will report to the Head of Reporting and take ownership for the group reporting and the consolidation of the Group's management and statutory accounts. The Group Reporting Manager position is a crucial role in terms of compiling a Group level understanding of financial performance and therefore this individual will gain top level exposure to a range of senior stake holders around the organisation.
The Group Reporting Manager must have a blend of excellent technical skills (IFRS, SOx, financial reporting, analysis, consolidation) and superb communication skills in order to present the financial results to the company leadership team. This individual will also need to partner with various divisional and regional heads of departments to challenge and investigate variances and technical issues. This individual will be the key point of contact for the month end close, quarter end and year end close processes.
Strong systems experience would also be beneficial including exposure to SAP and BPC alongside good Excel and data manipulation skills.
The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with post-qualified experience gained in industry. Hands on experience of running a consolidation in industry would be preferential but strong candidates making the first move out of practice will also be considered.
