Permanent Position Required: Head of Cloud Infrastructure

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Cloud Infrastructure to join a rapidly growing tech start-up in helping to convert a cloud vision into a reality!

You will utilise your Software Development background to run a Global Cloud Services Engineering function in a team of specialist engineers.

Location: London

Salary: circa £140,000 + excellent benefits and shares!

Agile / Hybrid working style – 2 days onsite pw

As Head of Cloud Infrastructure, you will:

• Run Engineering functions, including managing people and a team across
• Support, manage and build ideas on designing decisions and directions
• Offer a cloud perspective on building and challenging decisions and directions surrounding design ideas
• Negotiate and collate clear specifications for features
• Work successfully in an evolving and flexible environment
• Provide best estimates of tasks required to deliver the features

A successful Head of Cloud Infrastructure will have:

• Proficient in Backend (Java) and Frontend technology
• Extensive experience with Cloud services and their infrastructure requirements
• Experience running an engineering function, including modern Application design
• Exposure to automated testing methodologies and CI/CD processes
