Head of Direct Tax – Fully Remote – UK BASED

A global business is looking to recruit a Head of Direct Tax, to join their UK business.

This is a fully remote position but based in the UK.

The role will focus on managing and developing the Group tax reporting and compliance cycles for a highly acquisitive business.

Role:

• Oversight of UK and International Tax provisioning and risk
• Managing a team of 5 (tax managers and tax accountants)
• Management of all Direct Tax Compliance
• Oversight of tax forecasting, including cash tax forecasting and Reviewing quarterly tax reporting
• Implementing new tax technology to support across CBCR and Pillar 2

Skills:

• Qualified in ACA/ACCA or CTA
• Skilled across IFRS and other GAAP accounting standards
• Team Management Experience
• Understanding group taxes such at VAT would be beneficial
