A successful multi site business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to lead its finance function.
Leading a team of 2 this role with work closely with the MD. You will also work with the senior operations team, marketing and property team. at director level.
The role will also play a pivotal role in realising the ambitions of the business through generating accurate business insight that can inform profit generating action, while also providing financial control and reporting.
Main duties include:
Providing financial support to Managing Director, senior operations team, people, marketing and property team
Full P&L oversight and associated key decision support
Providing financial insight and analysis to improve performance and develop strategy including:
Commercial and Product analysis including category review modelling, value and volume reporting, price modelling (econometric modelling skill would be advantageous), developing methodologies to assess the effectiveness of new initiatives in trial stores
Property analysis including constructing appraisals and post-opening evaluation
Operational analysis extending to labour deployment evaluation, exception based evaluation of store margins and cost base
People support salary modelling along with data analytics
Month end delivery of management accounts for business
Management and review of key balance sheet areas
Cash flow forecasting and management including Capex programme
Lead annual budget process and strategy development with MD
Creates and owns the tracking of all KPIs, captured in the dashboard
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a multi site environment. This is an all round role with a succesful multi site business where you impact the continued success
