Join one of the fastest-growing organisations in the UK in the newly-created role of Head of FP&A. A unique opportunity which does not come up often, it is an opportunity to become part of an organisation that has seen unprecedented growth in its less than 10 year history and is now one of the largest in the country. They are looking for a technically strong, ambitious candidate to Head up their FP&A team.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the budgeting & forecasting process for the organisation, supporting budget holders in adhering to process, consolidating information and presenting data to senior management and the Board
  • Providing the organisation with quality data analytics that allow for data driven decision, seeking to maximise value for money whilst maintaining quality
  • Supporting the senior finance management team in the development and implementation of reporting and operating metrics that drive performance
  • Working closely with the PMO team to implement the wider Annual Business Planning Process, developing strategy and ensuring alignment with budget
  • Line management of 3 FP&A Analysts; grow the team to at least 5 by the end of the year

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a University degree or equivalent and be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have excellent analytical skills and experience using historic financial information, strategic plan or forecast data, with a track record of delivering business performance improvement
  • Be a very strong communicator and influencer, with experience working in a complex organisation
  • Be experienced with staff management and development
  • (Preferably) have worked in central government or a charitable organisation
