Title: Head of Group Financial Reporting

Reporting into: Group Financial Controller

Location: London

Work type: 6 month contract

Hybrid: 2 days in the office

I am partnered with a leading insurer looking for add a Head of Group Financial reporting for an initial 6-month contract who strives for constant improvement with the ability to challenge the status quo.

Core responsibilities:

• Lead excellence across the wider Finance Control team
• Deliver high-quality Group consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial, statutory and regulatory reporting to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with IFRS add solvency regulatory guidance
• Lead, manage and develop a team of 5
• Be an active member of the group consolidated finances

Required experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
• 8 years post qual experience (the right candidate with less experience will also be considered)
• Strong technical reporting knowledge ideally within the insurance sector – but open to FS
• Hands on approach
• Good understanding of group consolidations and financial reporting systems (Oracle)
