Goodman Masson have exclusively partnered with a high growth Oil & Gas business in London who now have a vacancy for a Head of Planning & Performance Management to join their finance team.

This position reports directly to the CFO and is part of the finance leadership team and will work closely with the CEO, VP Communications, Country Heads, Business Development, and the rest of the Executive Team.

The purpose of the role is to provide timely, accurate and valuable business insight in a timely manner to enable the Group execute its strategy with good financial discipline.

The business is a fast paced, lean organisation where priorities are constantly changing and on-time delivery of projects is a prerequisite. This really is a one of the most exciting opportunities of recent times as the business is going through a sustained period of growth via acquisitions.


The role will involve leading the coordination and consolidation of the Group business plan, quarterly forecasts and performance reports.

The role will have regular liaison with the in country finance and commercial teams as you will deliver the business planning processes working closely with the Business Unit planning, forecasting and performance teams and Group finance teams.

You will have accountability for overall Planning and Forecasting Model, ensuring standardised across the Group as much as practical and ensuring any changes follow management of change process and will recommend way forward on Planning tools to CFO.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools and related best practice
  • Significant experience in a similar role and industry
  • Strong financial knowledge with excellent analytical and numeracy skills
  • Experience of working and influencing at senior levels
  • Fluency in French is hugely advantageous
