An SME new business, part of a FTSE listed leisure and travel business, is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to lead its reporting function.
Reporting into the Finance Director you will manage a team of 2. Main duties include:
Financial Accounting - balance sheet and business process outsourcing of all financial transactions.
Financial Reporting - deliver quarterly financial accounting packs, manage annual audit process and statutory financial statements and resolve ad hoc accounting queries.
Management Reporting - deliver all management reporting, including monthly MA packs and financial and objective performance and insight for key stakeholders.
Financial Planning & Forecasting - quarterly forecast and annual financial planning and budgeting process. Contribute to business planning, including financial modelling.
Treasury & Risk Management - deliver robust banking processes, cash flow forecasting, manage aircraft and working capital financing.
Financial & Procurement Systems - deliver and manage best in class procurement and financial systems, tools and digital solutions to ensure robust financial control structure and executive reporting
Capital and Investment Appraisal - review and financial approval of all business cases. Capital expenditure reporting and forecasting including fleet, commercial and operational projects
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with an all round accounting and reporting background. Any exposure to treasury would be useful.
