Interim Billing Specialist

I am currently working with an exceptional global media business who are seeking a quick start temporary Billing Specialist to join them on a 3-4 month basis. For the right person this has a high likelihood of turning permanent.

Managing their internal group recharges out to individual entities, this role would be a great fit for an experienced biller who is used to dealing with complex international billing and understands the challenges of billing from a group business.

• Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual billings to operating companies worldwide
• Briefing and liaising with senior departmental managers regarding their schedule of billings
• Complete billing reconciliation and ledger settlement process
• Ensure all billing back up documentation is complete and available for inspection by internal and external auditors
• Weekly cash allocation related to sales ledger
• Credit control and running aged customer reports and providing commentary for review
• Manage the intercompany mailbox and dealing with queries
• Resolving outstanding issues in a timely manner

To be a good fit for this role, you’ll need:

• Strong customer/billing experience globally
• The ability to manage high volumes and a variety of different types of billing
• An understanding of VAT rules for global billing
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet a range of deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels both internally and externally
