A west London Leisure business are looking for an Investment Finance Analyst to join their fast-paced and dynamic team.

Reporting to the Investment Finance Manager, you will be joining the Expansion department and support the business in its capital investment programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Case support

  • Support project management of the investment case
  • Record, evidence, and quantify all assumptions underpinning the investment case
  • Support ad-hoc analysis to test and/or support the development of assumptions, risks and opportunities
  • Operate and input into financial models used for the investment case
  • Support workstream activities: traffic, commercial, opex, capex, depreciation
  • Prepare materials for review by internal and external stakeholders

Strategic Analysis support

  • Support evaluating individual business cases
  • Support evaluation of risks and opportunities to the investment case
  • Support integration into the investment case and alignments across workstreams
  • Support controlling consistency of investment appraisal information
  • Interact with the wider business to maintain consistency of planning assumptions
  • Document business cases analysis
  • Prepare materials for review by internal and external stakeholders

Internal and External information disclosures

  • Contribute to high quality reports and presentations used to deliver recommendations to senior teams in relation to expansion and capital investment
  • Support preparing financial disclosures and reporting for external stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Previous project management exposure would be ideal
  • Previous business partnering experience is desirable
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (designing and building analysis tools and ability to interrogate and audit Excel models)
  • Management/strategy background ideal
  • Experience in analytical, financial roles covering full P&L and balance sheet
  • Experience in infrastructure / asset intensive business and regulated industries beneficial

You will need to be analytical and have a real eye for detail. You will be a problem-solver and have the ability to think outside the box. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills so you can engage, challenge and influence key stakeholders. You will need to be able to clearly and concisely present information (experienced PowerPoint users ideal).
