Investments – Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst

An investments focused opportunity has arisen for a student actuary / investments specialist at a globally renowned life reinsurer in London. In your investments focused role as a Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst you would be involved in pricing business opportunities for the transfer of insurance and asset risk.

You will develop their global proposition which will involve:

• Following the investment markets and being able to translate and explain changes in the market conditions into changes to pricing.
• Working with the firms asset management team and agreeing investment assumptions for pricing.
• Developing the proposition to include strategies that manage and mitigate risks such as currency, inflation etc.

This would suit an ambitious and commercially minded student actuary with a passion for investments and who has an understanding of interest rates, FX, credit spread, liquidity) and how they impact insurance capitalization.

Prior exposure to the PRT (Pension Risk Transfer) / BPA markets or with some longevity related exposure would be helpful, although is non-essential.

You will either be an actuarial student or be studying an investments qualifications such as a CFA.
