Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for a boutique asset management business based Oxford Circus. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in management accounts and be excited by the prospect of working for a small growing business with the opportunity of getting involved in all aspects of accounting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Management and processing of invoices and employee expenses
  • Preparing and reviewing the weekly BACS payment run
  • Expense analysis and review of vendor records
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Assist with preparation of monthly journal entries
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Interact with team members to prepare and track invoices issued to clients
  • Monitor client reimbursable accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Data gathering and organizing for financial reporting, budgeting and other requirements of the firm
  • Ability to liaise with employees across our investment businesses
  • Constantly consider improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures and controls
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to non-finance employees
  • Ad hoc accounts and administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • 2 years accounting experience
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong book keeping experience
