About the role:

A CASS Analyst is required to join a Global Client Assets (CASS) team and contribute to the safeguarding and protection of our clients’ money. The role is with a global asset manager with broad and deep expertise across all major asset classes

The CASS Analyst will work flexibly and collaboratively to support the upkeep and development of our regulatory control environments, as well as to deliver positive outcomes for clients, colleagues, and the firm. This is an excellent opportunity if you have a background in audit, finance, or risk and want to develop your career within Client Assets Services (CASS).

Responsibilities:

  • Challenging, overseeing, and advising on the strengthening of processes and controls for CASS
  • Internal and external audit management and remediation in collaboration with the business
  • Providing regular MI to forums and committees
  • Assisting in preparing client assets for risk reporting
  • Providing mentorship and challenge to the business on technical matters around CASS and any other client asset regulations that may impact our business
  • Developing a strong working collaboration with other departments, in particular with the CASS Oversight Team, but also with other business partners
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the business’ client asset risk management framework

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Educated on a degree level from law, economics, finance, management, or mathematics
  • Part qualified ACCA
  • Solid numeracy abilities, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills
