About the role:

Salary: £130,000-£140,000 + Very generous benefits

My client is looking for a Senior Quantitative Market Risk ( Commodity experience is a big plus) candidate who will join an exciting and dynamic team in the Commodity Trading Industry.

This opportunity offers a risk management capability to assist asset creation, origination, and commodity trading activities. You will offer the department a flexible, high-quality analysis service. In order to validate and enhance their model innovations, the team conducts quantitative evaluations. They also create internal risk models, review and evaluate complex transactions, and assist the company in maximising value and reducing risk exposure.

Requirements:

. An excellent educational background in a field with a lot of math (mathematics, quantitative finance, operational research, science, engineering or similar).

* Strong practical, business-focused approach to modelling, valuation, and risk management;

* Excellent understanding of quantitative finance and related risk concerns, including derivative principles, option value, probability, and statistics;

* Capability to review and validate complex models.
