An international investment bank seeking a Legal Entity Controller to join them on a 12 month FTC. The role sits within the Financial Accounting team, you will be reporting to the Head of Legal Entity Control. The primary focus of this role is to be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of subsidiaries and SPVs under IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of high quality Board reporting
  • Oversight of the financial management for a number of subsidiaries and SPVs
  • Application, analysis and review of IFRS accounting and reporting within the monthly financial reporting process
  • Maintenance of integrity and accuracy in accounting ledgers
  • Produce and review Board reports for presentation to management
  • Submission of high quality deliverables
  • Reporting of financial information to stakeholders
  • Participation and defining accounting and control models
  • Preparation and review of statutory financial statements

Essential Attributes and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Previous experience working as a Legal Entity Controller within an investment bank
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Banking products
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS requirements
  • Presentation to stakeholders on accounting and reporting topics
  • Motivated, self-starter
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Report writing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly organised
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
