Goodman Masson are recruiting for an ambitious and professional part qualified Management Accountant for a leading global asset and wealth management firm. This role is ideal for someone with 2 to 3 years experience looking to take the next step up in their career.

Key responsibilities

  • Participation and production of monthly management accounts, to include assisting with the preparation of monthly Board reports
  • Monthly journals for accruals, depreciation, prepayments, operating expenses etc
  • Perform and ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are up to date including AR and AP, investigating any unreconciled items
  • Raise, record and send out sales invoices
  • Prepare monthly revenue journals for accrued/deferred revenue, using sales/resourcing/invoicing software to track project revenue accurately

Key Requirements

  • Newly/Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with management accountant experience
  • Preferably a 2:1 degree or higher and /or a strong academic background
  • Strong Excel skills, strong IT systems skills, good knowledge of Sage
  • An innovative mind-set
  • Focus on team achievement, not just individual goals
  • First-class interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and lead
  • Proactivity
  • Ability to cope with demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisation skills and rigorous attention to detail
  • Business / financial services experience helpful
