Management Accountant – London – FTC 65k – 9 Months – Hybrid

Description:
I am working with a mid-sized property company, where they are looking to grow the team of 15 with a management accountant into the central London Office. This is great for a recently qualified accountants seeking an exciting career jump and to be a part of a expanding finance team. The purpose of this role is to assist the Finance Manager with the management of the month end process and production of management accounts to be used by the rest of the business partnering finance teams and the business itself.
Key Accountabilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounts ensuring they reflect best knowledge of the activities of the business and accounting policy (IFRS)
- Monthly management accounts to include managing accruals and prepayments, reconciliation of revenue and variance analysis with commentary
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheets and review with CFM following through actions arising from reviews
- Reconciliation and posting of payroll
- Performing Management Accounts central processes
- Fixed Asset maintenance & reconciliations
- Assist with production of agreed month end packs
- Assist in developing existing month end close processes
- Daily management of Expense approvals
- Assist the CFM with the production of the budget and forecasting
- Performing ad-hoc tasks and analysis
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (e.g ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Intermediate/Advanced level Excel
- Self-starter and ability to prioritise effectively
- Proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to deliver to deadlines
- Ability to ask for assistance when required
- Strong written & verbal Communication skills
