Reporting to Head of Diversifying Strategies the successful candidate will perform manager selection processes run on behalf of clients. This will include manager assessment and analysis, due diligence, forming recommendations, and report preparation and presentation to clients as well as guaranteeing the quality of investment advisory offered across hedge funds, and other liquid alternative strategies.

You will guarantee the continuous improvement of the company's expertise across the full range of liquid alternatives strategies through improvements to the manager selection methodology as well as the format and content of client reports, analysis tools and software. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain and enrich the universe of asset managers and closely follow new trends and products in the space.

The successful candidate will continuously ensure that the expertise is being circulated within the business, in particular to the business development managers.

You will also be responsible for contributing to business development by assisting in the development of sales strategies, providing technical support in client and prospect meetings, helping clients design an investment strategy.

As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will continue to raise the business profile in the market through for example conferences and media contributions such as interviews and articles.

Key Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience with a focus on hedge fund or liquid alternative investment manager selection at either an investment consultant, FoHF / multi-manager, or asset / wealth management firm. Candidates with direct hedge fund investment experience will also be considered, although they must be able to demonstrate appropriate manager selection skills.
  • Undergraduate degree from a top university preferred (CAIA /CFA is a plus).
  • Strong quantitative and project management skills.
  • Motivated, able to demonstrate curiosity and strong analytical skills, a clear thinking, leadership, strong interpersonal and presentation skills at senior level.
  • Fluency in English.
