We have noticed significant growth within the life reinsurance sector following the success of UK based reinsurers breaking into the EMEA market.

As a result, a new vacancy has risen within this growing global reinsurer based in Dublin. Reporting into the Chief Actuary, you will be responsible for supporting the wider actuarial team in a variety of duties including:

  • Preparing SII reports, board reports, pillar III, ORSA and other group reports
  • Setting assumptions, developing models and analysing data
  • Providing support and due diligence of new acquisitions
  • Working closely with the wider team, managing stakeholder relationships with senior members of the board

Ideally, you will have a strong background within life insurance / reinsurance with experience in financial reporting / SII. You will be competent in building models and managing complex projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines. A good understanding of longevity would be beneficial.

This is a great time to join the team, the company are enjoying year on year growth and have ambitious plans for 2020 meaning a clear development path or route to management for the right person.
