Our client is one of the largest UK Asset Managers with over £300bn AuM, they require an Operational Due Diligence Analyst to join their team and work on leading the ODD meetings for their internal and external fund managers. Breadth of exposure in all asset classes is essential, with most of this role focused in Alternative Asset Classes - Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure and Alternative Credit/Debt. This role is open for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with up to three years of experience, preferably in the auditing of Hedge Funds, Private Equity or Real Estate Funds.


  • Leading Operational Due Diligence visits to external and internal fund managers
  • Building out the governance process for the operational oversight of managers
  • Undertaking reviews of Operational Due Diligence questionaries' and screening processes for investment managers
  • Working closely with the fund research team in collaboration to improve the analysis and research function
  • Produce accurate reports as part of the Operational Due Diligence and Governance procedures to be used as part of board meetings


  • 2-5 years' Experience in Operational Due Diligence, Investment Oversight, Fund Accounting, Audit or Investment Operational areas
  • University degree in a relevant area, preferably Finance, Economics or Accounting; CFA, ACA and or a master's degree is a plus
  • General understanding of investments and the institutional investment industry
  • Well organised and detailed oriented with the ability to improve team procedures and processes
  • Understanding of operational workings within open ended investment funds
  • Performance analysis and the ability to manipulate data in Excel, MI reporting
