About the role:

My client is a large non-profit organisation based near the London area seeking a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis.

The main responsibilities of the Contracts Manager are:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentor-ship to our compliance and planned investment teams, helping them attain their highest potential. Actively participate in individual coaching sessions and team gatherings, while establishing well-defined SMART goals for your team members.
  • Manage monthly KPIs, providing transparent monthly reports on performance against targets and addressing any shortfalls.
  • Take full ownership of planned investment programs, collaborating closely with our Asset Manager to develop future work plans while ensuring alignment with budgets.
  • Manage communications with our customers regarding planned investment and compliance, ensuring they are informed and updated throughout.
  • Exercise precise control over budgets and expenditures, forecasting spending across the year and contributing to future budget planning.
  • Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of action points.
  • Ensure all contracts adhere to relevant regulations, including OJEU and Section 20 where applicable.

  • Be a collaborative, empowering, and engaging leader.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of landlord health and safety legislation, fire safety regulations, building codes, and technical standards.
  • Manage team members, contractors, and consultants effectively.
  • Ensure projects comply with legislation and regulations.

My client can offer a flexible approach to working with two days a week in the office and the rest working remotely.
