About the role:

An International Investment Company is looking for an Account Payable Clerk to join their London Financial team on a 12 Months’ FTC on a Part time Basis (3 days a week, can be spread out into 5 short days). Highly remote working (1 days in the office).

This is a general Account Payable position, and you will be responsible for providing support on the company’s accounts, raising invoices and the suppliers onboarding and confirmations process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supplier onboarding and confirmations process, including direct verification of bank details
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Processing ~200-220 invoices in aggregate with a value of roughly €1.5-2 million monthly
  • Ensuring correct authorisations are obtained for all invoices in accordance with the authorities matrix
  • Proactively managing supplier and stakeholder expectations
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Raising weekly payment runs oncorporate bank platform
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements and investigating any discrepancies
  • Posting and allocation of payments on purchase ledger
  • Actioning and responding to supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Processing employee expense forms
  • Process inter-company invoices
  • Bank postings in General Ledger
  • Assisting with external and internal audit preparations
  • Other ad hoc AP duties as required

Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years of Accounts Payable experience – you will need hands on experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at any one time
  • Ability to resolve issues timeously
  • Collaborative in your approach to work
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a small team environment


  • Paying £23K p.a.
  • Highly flexible working arrangement (Monday in the Office, other days working remotely)
  • Pension: the Company will contribute an amount equal to 6 % of your salary if the employee contributes 4% of your salary
  • Life Insurance to the value of 4 times annual salary
  • Office in the heart of Soho located at 120 Regents Street
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year, pro-rata for part time (15 days)
