I have a fantastic contract role with a tier 1 investment bank based in central London working as a Performance Management Officer. You will be reporting to the Head of Performance Management and shall be responsible for the reporting of Actual and Budget for UK entities as well as producing analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting of Actual and Budget for UK entities
  • Produce analytical reports for business and function heads
  • Reporting and analysis of the expenses in Actuals and Budget
  • Participate in key projects such as cost savings, new systems and new entities to monitor
  • Act as a link between Finance and Functions & Business
  • Be an expert solution provider
  • Be a key stakeholder in the team
  • Meet clients and answer any queries they have
  • Be a key figure in the evolution of the department from "regular" management accounting, to performance management
  • Monthly management reporting of financial results
  • Ensure correct accounting of the Premises and General Admin cost, accurate allocation to the occupying units and application of IFRS16 (leases)
  • Adhere to Management Accounting rules
  • Produce and review of the monthly expense reports for all key stakeholders
  • Build great working relationships with the heads of Functions and Business
  • Participate in annual budget and forecast process
  • Prepare presentation of the Budget to UK Management
  • Train and supervise the Performance Management junior officers
  • Supervise specific projects


  • Advance knowledge of Performance Management principles
  • Accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • VAE Budget Module
  • Highly analytical for critical review of figures
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, Essbase, Vinci and Paradigm
  • Able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality
  • Be a team player
