Pricing Actuary – move from Life to Non-life Insurance

Would any Life Actuaries in my network from a Pricing background be keen to entertain moving to a Non Life insurer? A well known insurer are happy to consider a commercially minded life actuary looking to make the switch, into an industry that is typically more varied and lucrative.

London based (circa 2-3 days a week)

The role manages 4 analysts in the pricing team. This role leads the team in delivering the business plan and the underwriting risk analysis.

This is a high profile role in the Pricing Team with lots of visibility and exposure to senior management, Chief Actuary and all pricing actuaries. Also reserving actuaries, capital modelling actuaries, as well as Finance and FP&A teams across EMEA and the catastrophe modelling team.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified actuary or significant experience in an Actuarial role
• Experience in insurance industry preferable but not essential (eg – pensions/life insurance also considerable)
