I am currently working on an opportunity to work for one of the largest and highly regarded firms in the Private Equity sector. As such, I am looking for a qualified accountant to join within their International Finance division as an Associate. The role will report into the UK Head of Finance, but will also require you to work closely with international finance teams. Their portfolio includes investments within state-of-the-art office spaces and hotels, as well as retail spaces and commercial properties.

The core principles of the Finance division are to be experts not only in financial control, but to be consistently adding value to the business in an advisory capacity, so excellent communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for the oversight of finance functions within your allocated business sector, as well as managing financial close for the relevant entities.

You will also help prepare management information for board meetings and be involved in global finance initiatives, including real estate acquisitions. As well as being instrumental within the core finance functions, other responsibilities will include implementation and process improvement.

Key Requirements: -

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong accounting knowledge (GAAP and FRS102)
  • Knowledge of control frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and probe where necessary
