The largest organisation of its kind in the UK, providing invaluable support to vulnerable children and their families and to children with special educational needs, is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to work on a major project. One of the organisation’s sites will be undergoing major changes over the course of 2021, and the Project Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in this.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Quickly gaining an excellent understanding of each service area and providing support to budget holders, considering new and alternative solutions to minimise costs and maximise resources
- Taking a lead role from a finance perspective in the major change project to their Wokingham site
- Bringing commercial awareness to decision making when developing new business strategies and/or operating models
- Working with department Heads and other budget holders to contribute to the financial strategic direction of each service area
- Weekly travel to Wokingham
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience working in a complex organisation
- Have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Be an excellent Finance Business Partner with proven ability to build strong relationships and to manage challenging stakeholders
- Have experience working in the social care sector, and/or a service-providing organisation
