Permanent Position Required: QA Engineer

I am partnered with a leading FinTech company, specialising in currency management, who are looking for a QA Engineer to join their team permanently

Over the last couple of years, the client has rapidly scaled. Growing their client base, product set and team. This is a very exciting time to be part of this evolving organisation and work as part of a full-stack product team of product people, designers, engineers, test engineers and subject matter experts to make their vision a reality.

Location: London

Travel requirements: Hybrid

Circa Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 – based on experience

The QA Engineer will:

  • Help drive quality from conception to finished product
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Apply and maintain automated testing processes for our products
  • Contribute to the growth of our regression packs and ensuring we maintain a high level of automated test coverage
  • Identify, report and collaborate with team members to resolve issues found
  • Contribute to architectural decisions from a testability perspective
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
  • Continue to stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

The QA Engineer will have:

  • Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • A high degree of personal honesty and integrity
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Profficient experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO and Cucumber
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, python or other common language
  • Fundamental knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing
  • Previous experience and exposure with AWS technologies
  • Good spoken and written English

Additionally, you may also have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with API Tools such as Soap UI / ReadyAPI
