QA Tester

Permanent Position Required: Quality Assurance Tester

My Client, a NfP Organisation who specialise in promoting investment strategies is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join the team permanently

Location: London

Travel requirements: 1 days needed on site a week at the London Office

Circa Salary: £55,000

The QA Tester will:

• Become an expert on the reporting and assessment platforms
• Ensure that acceptance criteria are written for all deliverables and signed off by the product owners
• Prepare and Execute test plans and test cases for all the scenarios identified in the planning stages
• Identify the scope of functional and non-functional testing for all stages of the release
• Support testing requirements with third-party suppliers
• Identify, raise and report on defects and re-test bug fixes
• Oversee testing requirements with third-party suppliers
• Ensure that all documentation is produced, and approvals obtained in line with quality assurance practices

The QA Tester will have:

• Proven background in software testing of web-based applications and big data projects
• Experience with data migration testing methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of software testing procedures and skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation, and risk-based testing.
• On – hand experience working with the Agile methodology and tooling. (JIRA, Monday.com, Asana)
• knowledge of test automation
• Experience in both Performance and Security testing
• Proficient at writing SQL Database queries
• Sufficient knowledge of APIs and use of API Tools (Postman/SOAPUI/JSON and XML data structures)
• A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others, the ability to foster an inclusive working environment
