An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager and Qualified Person who is looking to join a leading pharmaceuticals manufacturing business in a strategic position working on the front line of drug delivery to patients. The role is based near Stoke on Trent paying around £85,000 with a great benefits package and the ability to go higher for someone who would bring extensive experience.
The business, who supply over 70% of their market, are now looking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager. Having rapidly grown their dosage output and recently secured new contracts covering the next 10 years, this is an important senior appointment for the business and crucial to future quality strategy and growth.
The QP/Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for directing quality and ensuring the consistent product output from their site. Holding full autonomous responsibility, you will be heavily involved in a hands-on all-encompassing role across the full spectrum of QA. You will have a detailed involvement in the quality processes surrounding a time-sensitive batch release and manage the QMS.
The ideal candidate will have the following core experience, abilities and attributes:
* Eligibility to act as a Qualified Person. Both current UK QP's and EU QP's will be considered
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
* Strong knowledge base of quality management systems and business quality processes
* Passionate about the pharmaceutical industry with an appreciation of how an advanced product directly impacts the patient
* Be driven, ambitious and eager to learn
