Senior Quantitative Researcher – Renewable Energy (US, London or Europe)

Compensation: $220,000 in the US and £170,000 for London and Europe.

My client, a renewable energy firm is looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join their team in the United States. This role can also be located in London or Europe. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Quant and play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge risk analysis models for our renewable energy portfolio.

This includes developing methodologies for stress testing various scenarios, analysing results, and configuring risk management systems. A strong understanding of quantitative methods and their application to market liquidity. A strong understanding of quantitative methods and their application to market liquidity, valuation of physical assets, PPA and structured transactions is essential.

To qualify, you will possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commodities quantitative analyst, strategist, or risk officer within a trading firm. A master’s degree or doctorate in a quantitative field, proficiency in Python and SQL programming, and a passion for the renewable energy sector are all highly desirable.
