Rent and Service Charge Team Lead

In the heart of Buckinghamshire, a housing association with a desire to provide homes and services their communities can rely on, are look for a service charge lead to join their team.

Role:

• Providing a customer focused, accurate rent & service charge and utilities management and accounting service to all residents

• Accurate preparation and setting of rents and service charges and reserve funds for all tenures

• Act as a business partner providing guidance and expertise on rent and service charge setting

• Calculation and issuing of actual service charge accounts for all tenants and homeowner in line with deadlines and statutory requirements

• Work with external auditors on the annual service charge certification of accounts in accordance with legal requirements of the lease and legislation

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge and practical experience of rent and service charge legislation
• Experience of rent and service charge accounting setting, reconciling and administration
• Experience of managing the utility provision to residential and commercial properties
• Experience of development and new build rent and service charge setting
